Nick Gross the best player of Rocball around the World!

Nick Gross was chosen as the best player of Rocball of the World by Saipan Federation of Rocball. Congratulations!

After the Saipan League and the National Championship of India, some matches in Ereaga beach (Getxo, Basque Country)

The 27 of may in Ereaga (Getxo, Basque Country) 10 players met to play to rockball. They made three teams (two teams were formed changing some players), as usually they do, on the Beach. The weather was fine, not so sunny, cloudy but it didn't rain.

We played two matches and in both matches Bizkaitarrak won. Thanks to these victories Bizkaitarrak basque team managed to advance in the World Ranking of Rocball. It gave a big step.

The players enjoyed a lot playing on the beach. It is completely different to play on the sand. We will play in july again on the beach. We will played 2 or 3 matches.

Rocball News Release: Saipan

Rocball News Release: 2017 Rocball Champions Teachers vs. Pound Stars The “Teachers” won the 2017 Micronesia and U.S.A. Rocball Championship in game four of the best of five championship playoffs. The Teachers won games 1, 3, and 4. The Pound Stars won game 2 and lost game three in double overtime. The Teachers dominated in the heavy hitting category of Rocball scoring with 25 two point aces, 4 two point xunks, 5 two point kees, 1 jam (spiked-down serve), and 4 three point goals. The Pound Stars were at their best in volleyball one point court scoring and 2 point backcourt scoring with 10 kees. What the championship games demonstrated is that teams which rely on their volleyball scoring skills are less likely to win a Rocball Championship Title. The Championship games heavy hitters (MVPs) were Nick Gross of the Teachers with 3 aces, 3 kees, 1 jam, and 3 goals. Troy “The Luther” Ngirarois was the heavy hitter of the Pound Stars with 4 aces, 3 kees, and 1 goal.
